[{"type":"text","content":"\n Quintessentially English PLC\n24 August 2006\n\n\n\n Quintessentially English PLC (the 'Company')\n\n Amendment - Restoration of Trading\n\n\n\nThe following amends the restoration of trading announcement released by\nQuintessentially English plc (the 'Company') on 24 August 2006 under RNS number\nat 0573I at 10.30 am.\n\nCopies of the admission document relating to the Company's proposals for an\nacquisition and placing are available free of charge from the Company's\nregistered office and at the offices of CFA, Pountney Hill House, 6 Laurence\nPountney Hill, London EC4R 0BL, during normal business hours on any weekday\n(Saturdays and public holidays excepted) and shall remain available for at least\none month after admission.\n\nAll other details remain unchanged and the full amended announcement appears\nbelow:\n\n\n\nThe Company announced earlier today proposals for the acquisition of Omega\nDiagnostics Limited, a placing of 50,000,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each at\n2p per share, the issue of up to 5,588,432 warrants to existing shareholders in\nthe Company, change of name to Omega Diagnostics Group PLC, and waiver of Rule 9\nof the Takeover Code.
