[{"type":"text","content":"\n Omega Diagnostics Group PLC\n04 April 2007\n\n Omega Diagnostics Group PLC\n\n Omega Appoints Fumouze Diagnostics as Distributor for France\n\nOmega Diagnostics Group PLC ('Omega'), the medical diagnostics company,\nannounces that it has appointed Fumouze Diagnostics ('Fumouze'), part of the\nSofibel SAS group, to act as its distributor for France.\n\nFumouze will initially sell Omega's Syphilis test product 'IMMUTREP - TPHA' to\ninfectious diseases and blood bank testing laboratories throughout France.\n\nCreated in 1963 and located in Paris, Fumouze is well established and has been\nactive in the diagnostics sector for over 40 years. Fumouze had a turnover of 10\nMillion Euros in 2006 and employs 30 staff. It has a customer base of 4,200\nprivate laboratories and 800 hospital laboratories.\n\nAndrew Shepherd, Chief Executive of Omega said, 'This appointment strengthens\nour already significant distribution network which covers in excess of 100\ncountries. Fumouze is a well established company with a successful field-based\nsales force.
