(TSX: CWL) today announced that\n John Strackhouse has joined the firm as a Partner in the Industrial and\n Technology practices.\n\n\n\"We are delighted to have John joining the Caldwell Partners team,\" said\n John N. Wallace, chief executive officer. \"John's creative approach and\n strong global relationships have enabled him to execute complex\n searches for board directors, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and other senior-level\n roles, and be of counsel to many leaders across North America and\n beyond. His breadth and depth of experience with clients from start-ups\n to fortune 500s will be a strong and synergistic complement to our\n Industrial and Technology teams. Additionally, his recruiting expertise\n in private equity and venture capital industry and at the CEO and board\n level will add important strength to our existing capabilities in those\n areas.\"\n\n\nMr. Strackhouse joined Caldwell Partners from Heidrick & Struggles,\n where he was a partner in the Private Equity and CEO & Board practices.\n Earlier in his career there, he helped create and co-lead the global\n e-business practice, which grew to become the largest practice in the\n firm at the time. John was also the key architect in building the\n firm's relationship with the World Economic Forum, and helped to place\n some of the most influential leaders of the Forum.\n\n\nMr. Strackhouse is frequently quoted in leading publications, including\n Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Newsweek and Fortune, on topics ranging\n from global talent management and board effectiveness to C-suite\n leadership. Most recently, he spoke at the Wharton Club in San\n Francisco on CEO succession. He was also a featured contributor at the\n 2011 World Economic Forum in Dalian China, where he participated in a\n panel discussion about cross-cultural compensation.\n\n\nPrior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Strackhouse worked for\n British Petroleum (ARCO) and served as a general manager for the Tab\n Products Company.
