("Tiex" or the "Company") (TSX-V: TIX) is pleased to announce the results of its Viewland - MMI soil sampling\n program. This project is located near the community of Horsefly,\n approximately 40 km north-northwest of the settlement of Horsefly and\n approximately 115 km northeast of the town of Williams Lake within the\n Cariboo Mining Division of British Columbia.\n\n\nTiex conducted a reconnaissance MMI soil geochemical survey to confirm\n the presence of several high copper soil anomalies from a historical\n conventional geochemical survey. The MMI soil data confirmed that a 700\n x 2200 m and a 900 x 2700 m area are highly anomalous in\n copper. Response ratios for copper in these areas are generally above\n 10 times background with local highs more than 100 times background.\n\n\nThe area was originally staked by Utah Mines (later BHP Mining) in the\n mid 1980's to cover a 2 x 2.5 km aeromagnetic high. This was part of a\n regional exploration program to explore for porphyry copper deposits\n similar to the nearby Mount Polley deposit. Utah conducted a\n geochemical survey over the high aeromagnetic feature which was found\n to reflect the location of syenite to monzonite stocks that intrude\n Middle Triassic to Upper Triassic Nicola Group sedimentary rocks. The\n geochemical survey delineated several areas of anomalous high copper...
