MMI Soil Sampling Survey - Reconnaissance on Tiex Inc. Mackay River and Horsefly River Projects, Quesnel Trough Area, British Columbia

About this update from Bullion Gold Resources Corp.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX Venture: TIX\n\n\nKELOWNA, BC, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Tiex Inc. is pleased to announce the results\nof reconnaissance MMI soil sampling surveys on the it's Mackay River and\nHorsefly River Projects within its wholly owned land package in the Quesnel\nTrough of British Columbia. The work was performed by the Company's\nconsultant, Geotronics Consulting Inc.\n\n\nReconnaissance MMI soil sampling was carried out during the 2008\nexploration season along roads within two areas of the Mackay River Property\narea which is located 55 Km east-northeast of the village of Horsefly and 110\nkm east-northeast of the town of Williams Lake. The first area is located\nalong the northeast side of the northwest-flowing Mackay River, a tributary of\nHorsefly River, and within which the reconnaissance lines trend in an east to\nsoutheast direction. This area is approximately 10Km northwest of the\nnortheast side of the Frasergold Property where Hawthorne Gold has recently\nperformed extensive exploration work. The second area occurs along the\nwest-southwest-flowing Horsefly River where reconnaissance MMI samples were\ntaken from sites close to roads that parallel both sides of the river.\n\n\nA total of 684 samples were taken at 50 meter intervals along existing\nroads on the properties. 486 samples were from the Mackay River section and\n198 samples were from the Horsefly River section. Analyses for 46 elements\nwere performed by SGS Minerals Laboratories in Toronto, Ontario. The response\nratios (the number times background for each geochemical element) for 10 base\nmetal elements were calculated. The sums of response ratios were plotted at\neach site in order to identify those with anomalous metal contents.\n\n\nReconnaissance sampling results revealed several anomalies. Anomaly A is\nlocated near the northwest end of the Mackay River sampling area and is mainly\ncomprised of gold values, up to 126 times background. The B.C.\ngovernment's,"MapPlace", website, shows that the anomaly occurs within the\nNicola Group sedimentary rocks and that regional geochemical surveys have\nfound a number of sites with anomalous regional geochemistry gold values.\nAnomaly A can be traced for approximately 1,300 meters and is open to the\nwest. Anomalous values are present on reconnaissance lines located two hundred\nmeters north and four hundred...
