American Seniors Association announces partnership with American Seniors Magazine, LLC

 

 

ALPHARETTA, GA, January 30, 2012 – American Seniors Association Holding Group, Inc. (AMSA:PK) today announced that it has agreed with American Seniors Association Magazine, LLC to publish its quarterly magazine.  

 

“This is a great day for the family of ASA,” Phil Kent, American Seniors’ CEO, said. “It has long been the goal of ASA to publish its own magazine to our membership.  Today, I am very pleased to announce this goal has been met.  While this agreement should create a tremendous revenue stream for our Company, there are many more benefits to ASA than just revenue,” he added.  “This magazine will give us as well as our vendors the opportunity to speak to our membership in a forum that will be read and kept by our membership.  Our publication's advertising universe will not be limited to just our "in-house" vendors but will be open to other advertisers who wish to market to our approximate 13,000,000 person membership.  We now have the venue to speak to our membership on the topics and issues of the day that affect us all while, at the same time, further entrenching our brand to our membership.  We are well aware that the AARP magazine is the largest publication in the world and we are also well aware of the hundreds of millions of dollars it reaps from its publication, so we are very excited to bring ours to market," he said.

ASA expects the first issue to be published in October 2012 and quarterly thereafter.  It is American Seniors Association, LLC's intention to initially distribute the magazine free to the entire +13,000,000 person ASA membership as well as for sale at newsstands around the Country.
