[{"type":"text","content":"\n Braemar Seascope Group PLC\n10 January 2007\n\n \nFor immediate release \n\n10 January 2007\n\n\n Braemar Seascope Group PLC ('the Group')\n\n\n Appointment of executive directors\n\n\nThe Board of Braemar Seascope Group PLC is pleased to announce the appointment\nQuentin Soanes and Denis Petropoulos as executive directors with immediate\neffect.\n\nDenis Petropoulos has responsibility for the Group's tanker chartering\nactivities, encompassing deep-sea crude and clean product, gas, chemicals and\nspecialised tanker chartering. He has worked in tanker chartering all his\nprofessional life and was a founding director of Braemar Tankers Limited which\nwas acquired by Braemar Seascope in 2001. He also becomes joint managing\ndirector of Braemar Seascope Limited, the Group's principal shipbroking\nsubsidiary.\n\nQuentin Soanes has responsibility for business development in the Group. He is\nalso Chairman of the Group's wholly-owned subsidiaries, Cory Brothers Shipping\nAgency Limited and DV Howells Limited. He has worked as a sale and purchase\nshipbroker for most of his professional life and was a founding director of\nBraemar Shipbrokers Limited, which merged with Seascope Shipping Holdings PLC in\n2001 to form Braemar Seascope Group PLC.
