(TSX-V: BQE) (\"BQE Water\" or the \"Company\"), a leader in the treatment of mine impacted water, today reported the results of the Annual General and Special Meeting (\"AGM\") of shareholders held on November 20, 2018. \n\n \n \nAccording to the proxies, a total of 36,575,520 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing 38.92% of the votes attached to all outstanding shares. All nominees to the board of directors of the Company (the \"Board\") listed in the management proxy circular dated October 16, 2018 (the \"Information Circular\") were elected to hold office as directors of the Company until the next AGM or until their successors are elected or appointed. The directors have appointed Peter Gleeson to continue as Chair of the Board for the upcoming year.\n\n \n \nWith respect to the special business voted on at the AGM, the shareholders approved a proposed amendment to the stock option plan of the Company to provide the Board with discretion to extend the expiry of stock options granted to option holders to a maximum of one year from the date the option holder ceased to be a director, employee or consultant of the Company, as further described in the Information Circular. The shareholders also approved a resolution to consolidate the issued and outstanding Common Shares of the Company on the basis of one post-consolidation Common Share for each 100 pre-consolidation Common Shares (the \"Share Consolidation\").
