Hedley Award for Excellence in Social and Environmental Responsibility as presented by the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) of\n \n British Columbia\n \n . This award honours individuals for their significant contributions to the social or environmental responsibility of projects, including impacts that increase equity, diversity and inclusion. For more than 50 years,\n \n Clem Pelletier\n \n has championed environmental impact studies and collaboration with Indigenous groups for the permitting of major mining projects worldwide.\n \n \n \n Chris Fleming\n \n , a chemist/metallurgist joined the BQE Water Board in 2007 and continues to serve as one of the Company Directors today. Chris was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP), a Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) Technical Society.
