(TSXV:BQE)\n \n \n (OTC:BTQNF)\n \n \n , a leader\nin mine water management, has successfully completed the commissioning\nand Performance Test of the first industrial scale plant utilizing its\npatented Selen-IX(TM) process for selenium management at the Kemess\nproperty in Northern British Columbia, Canada, owned by Centerra Gold.\nSince late August 2020, the Selen-IX(TM) plant has operated\ncontinuously treating 65 L/s (5,600 m\n \n \n 3\n \n \n /day) of mine\ninfluenced water to produce effluent containing selenium\nconcentrations of less than 2 parts per billion.\n \n \n \n \n Fully staffed and operated by BQE Water with support\nfrom Centerra Gold mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel,\nthe plant is expected to operate until the end of October and then\nshut down for the winter season.
