[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n13th September 2023\n \nBotswana Diamonds PLC\n(\"Botswana Diamonds\" or the \"Company\")\n \nMarsfontein Update\n \nBotswana Diamonds plc ('BOD') is pleased to provide an update on its Marsfontein and Thorny River Projects in South Africa.\n \nMining of the dumps at Marsfontein is ongoing. Exploration, including drilling and geophysics in the mine area has identified a blow of between 5 and 10 metres wide and about 13 metres from surface. This is fresh kimberlite. While we await outstanding permits to mine Thorny River we can continue to mine at Marsfontein. \n \nChairman, John Teeling, commented: \"As a proof-of-concept project Marsfontein is delivering diamond recoveries and values above expectations as previously reported in August. This augers well for Thorny River.
