[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n \n21 March 2025\n \nBorders & Southern Petroleum plc\n(\"Borders & Southern\" or the \"Company\")\n \nResult of General Meeting\n \nBorders & Southern Petroleum plc (AIM: BOR), the London based independent oil and gas exploration company with appraisal and exploration assets offshore the Falkland Islands, is pleased to advise that at the General Meeting held earlier today all resolutions were passed.\n \nThe results of the proxy voting were:\n \n\n\n\n\nResolution\n\n\nPercentage proxy votes in favour\n\n\n\n\n1. Authority to allot relevant securities\n\n\n99.56%\n\n\n\n\n2. Disapplication of shareholder pre-emption rights\n\n\n97.95%\n\n\n\n\n \nAdmission and Total Voting Rights\n \nApplication has been made for admission of the 46,315,789 new shares to trading on AIM (\"Admission\") and it is expected that Admission will occur on or around 24 March 2025. The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company.\n \nFollowing Admission, the total issued share capital of the Company will consist of 877,630,245 Ordinary Shares each with voting rights. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
