(OTC: BONL) has announced that A. George Hebel, III, former Chairman and current board member of Bonal International, Inc., died of complications due to cancer on July 6, 2014. Hebel retired from full time duties as President and CEO on March 31, 2010 and remained Chairman of the Board of Directors until February, 2014. Previously he served Bonal in various capacities throughout a 50 year period.\n\n\n\"George was focused on market introduction of Bonal's Meta-Lax stress relief technology. Under his leadership, businesses from over 66 different sectors of the metalworking industry located in over 60 countries acquired Meta-Lax equipment. It was George who presented 'Meta-Lax' as a possible name for the new revolutionary technology that he helped develop and patent. George had a special talent for designing equipment. He designed over 30 control consoles and three product lines. George will be sorely missed,\" stated Thomas E. Hebel, Chairman of the Board. \n\nGeorge Hebel joined Bonal Corporation (the original machine shop where the Meta-Lax technology was developed) in 1963 as a machinist with building maintenance responsibilities.  He assumed the responsibilities of plant manager in 1967, overseeing the growth and direction of the machining operation.  In 1976, an expansion of the organization to include a Vibronics Division provided for increased responsibilities, including becoming a member of Bonal Corporation's Board of Directors and General Manager of its plant operations.  He was Chairman and CEO of Bonal Corporation from December, 1992 to February, 1995.
