The LOI is required to provide both parties with the time necessary to perform all required due diligence, and verify the mutual benefits and advantages of the proposed undertaking.\n\nMr. Schaefer stated: \"I am well acquainted with the principals involved in the proposed transaction, and, if we can come to terms, the acquisition could prove beneficial to both organizations.
