Boardwalk has proudly partnered with The Ice on Whyte Festival since 2015 which features the Boardwalk VIP Entrance. 121,000 visitors have enjoyed quick and easy access to the Festival since 2015.  \n\nThe Ice on Whyte Festival features an international ice carving exhibit as well as ice carving lessons for adults, children and families. Ice on Whyte is the only international ice carving competition in northern Alberta. More than 36,000 visitors per year take in the amazing ice sculptures and ice carving lessons.\n\nThe Sand on Whyte sand carving exhibit evolved out of the Ice on Whyte Festival as a summer event in Old Strathcona that features incredible sand sculptures. More than 57,000 visitors enjoy the sand carving art created by some of the same artists that carve ice at the Ice on Whyte Festival.
