("BELLUS Health" or\nthe "Company") (TSX: BLU) today disclosed the results of its previously\nannounced rights offering. The Company will raise an aggregate of C$9,687,233\nfrom the rights offering and issue a total of 52,363,419 common shares at a\nprice of C$0.185 per share (the "Subscription Price").\n\n\nUnder the rights offering, rights were exercised to subscribe for\n9,120,177 common shares at the Subscription Price for proceeds of C$1,687,233.\nAdditionally, in accordance with the terms of the stand-by purchase agreements\nentered into by BELLUS Health with Vitus Investments III Private Limited\n("Vitus") and Victoria Square Ventures Inc. ("VSVI"), each of Vitus and VSVI\nwill subscribe for 21,621,621 common shares of BELLUS Health at the\nSubscription Price for an aggregate of C$8,000,000.\n\n\nThe Company's transfer agent is in the process of distributing shares to\nthose shareholders who participated in the rights offering, either directly or\nthrough their brokers.
