WPC Resources Inc. Completes Initial Drill Program at Quest Lake

Vancouver, B.C., October 19, 2010 - WPC Resources Inc. (TSXV:WPQ) ("WPC" or the "Company") is pleased to report that it has completed its initial drill program on its Quest Lake property located 85 kilometers east of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The program consisted of seven drill holes totalling 556.39 meters testing the "A" vein system over a strike length of approximately 75 meters and to depths of up to 150 meters below surface. The program was designed to be completed in fewer than 199 man days, as specified under the Company's prospecting permit. All holes successfully intersected the targeted "A" vein as well as intersecting associated splay veins. The final two holes of the program were drilled to test the northern end of the vein which is thought to thicken as it enters into a nose of a fold occurring under Quest Lake. All core samples were transported by plane to ALS Chemex in Yellowknife where the samples were prepped and shipped to ALS Chemex's main lab in Vancouver. Assay results from the drill program will be released once they have been confirmed, reviewed and tabulated by the Company. The drill program was conducted under the supervision of Wesley Raven (P.Geo).

At Wenban Springs, Nevada, the Company has completed a mapping and sampling program. The program was conducted by John Zimmerman, WPC's consulting geologist from Salt Lake City, and his report with recommendations is due by the middle November.

Warren Robb (P.Geo) and Wesley Raven (P.Geo), who are both qualified persons for the purposes of NI 43-101, have reviewed all of the technical information relating to the properties mentioned in this press release.
