Many overseas Vietnamese have begun traveling back to their homeland, and they would become a major passenger market for these airlines, not to mention Americans and their families who want to see and experience the exotic wonders of Vietnam. \r\n\r\nVietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) is a government agency, which exercises the state management function over tourist operations and activities throughout the country. It has full control in terms of business development, planning, public relations, personnel training, conducting research, and inspecting the implementation of policies andother regulations in the tourism sector. According to VNAT's latest tourism statistics, the number of international visitors to Vietnam jumped over 2.2 million so far in 2003, generating over $1.6 Billion USD in tourism revenue.
