FORscene Server enabled the production team on location to access material immediately, while uploading to FORscene's Cloud using the standard domestic broadband connection on location.\n\nAdditional DigiBeta rushes shot throughout were split-digitised at Crow TV into FORscene Load Linux and local full-resolution storage. Loggers added searchable metadata in FORscene, providing producers and directors with information to make rough-cuts and sync pulls using FORscene's editing tools.\n\nCharmaine Pestana, Production Manager, said:\n\"FORscene has been so useful throughout this production. Being able to make the material available quickly both during and after filming for logging and editorial purposes was really helpful. We also appreciated the high quality of service which FORscene delivered.\"\n\nStephen Streater, CEO of Forbidden Technologies, said:\n\"Being able to log a live feed on location has opened up many new market areas for FORscene. This major production using FORscene Server is part of the trend in broadcast to incorporate the benefits of the Web into their workflows.\"\n\n'Dating in the Dark' is produced by Initial, an Endemol company, exclusively for LIVING. The format was originally devised by the Dutch entertainment company Talpa. Transmission for the eight-part series began on Wednesday 9 September 2009.\n\n\n-Ends-\n\n\nFor further information please visit www.forbidden.co.uk or contact:\n\nForbidden Technologies plc\nTel: +44 (0)20 8879 7245\nPete Burns\n\nEndemol\nTel: +44 (0)870 333 1700\nCharmaine Pestana\n\nBishopsgate Communications &nbs...
