Bird is a member of the Plenary Justice consortium responsible for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the courthouse located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bird's role relates to the design and construction of the facility. The consortium plans to reach financial close in the fall of 2010 and commence construction early in 2011.
