On July 27, 2010, the Fund announced Bird's participation as a member of the Shield Infrastructure Partnership consortium that was selected as the preferred proponent responsible for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the 18 facilities. Since that time, the consortium has reached financial close.\nBird's role relates to the design and construction of the facilities.
