Bezisterim is a novel, orally-administered small molecule that has been shown to reverse insulin resistance and selectively inhibit inflammation-driven ERK- and NF-κB-stimulated inflammatory mediators without inhibiting their homeostatic functions. Inflammation and the associated insulin resistance are important to the presentation of Parkinson's symptoms.
