(TSXV:BRM) announced today the\nintroduction of the UNITY technology platform which dramatically improves the\nlevel of performance for biological odor removal systems. The product\ninnovation emerged from more than two years of advanced biofiltration and\nbiotrickling media research.\n\n\n"Over the past six months, we have installed five pilots at municipal\nwaste water treatment plants and obtained very encouraging performance data."\nsaid Peter Bruijns, President and CEO. "We are now installing our first full\nscale unit at a municipal plant in the Southern United States, which will be\noperational this October. Over the next few months, we will study the removal\nperformance of Hydrogen Sulphide and Total Reduced Sulphur compounds."\n\n\nAt the heart of the UNITY platform are the two new types of permanent\nmedia developed by Biorem. Harnessing the odor removal efficiency of these\nmedias requires proprietary process and tank configurations which have\nresulted in three patent applications. The performance advantage is the high\nremoval rate of both Hydrogen Sulphide and the very odorous contribution of\nTotal Reduced Sulphurs while using a much smaller vessel. The advantage to\nowners and municipalities is a system with guaranteed performance with a small\nfootprint and a lower overall installed cost.\n\n\n"Over the next six months, we will work with our sales team to identify\nadditional evaluation sites with diverse inlet air conditions." added Mr.\nBruijns.
