BIOREM announces first full scale XLD-based system installation

GUELPH, ON, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - BIOREM Inc. (TSXV:BRM) is pleased to announce the start-up of our first full scale XLD-based system in the southern United States.

The XLD-based system, which utilizes Biorem's new high performance XLD biofiltration permanent media, began running at a municipal plant in mid-December. The XLD-based system replaced an existing odor control installation. Biorem's team was able to remove the old unit and have the new system up and running in 48 hours, ensuring little disruption at the municipal plant.

Since start-up, the system has been consistently removing in excess of 99% hydrogen sulfide from the treated air stream as well as Total Reduced Sulfurs.
