(\"Big Rock\") (TSX:BR) – Big Rock Brewery is kicking off 2016 with a new Signature Series offering, a single hop Citra IPA called Citradelic.  \n\nWhen the Calgary based brewery set out to build another local brewery in Vancouver's Brewery Creek district, the goal was to further drive innovation throughout Canada's craft beer communities. Big Rock BC Brewmaster Jody Hammell was given the keys to a brand new brewery, set up to do things the brewhouse in Calgary wasn't necessarily designed to do. Citradelic is the first of many delicious results of that plan. It has been such a hit with west coast drinkers, that it's now won the right to debut in other provinces. \n\n\"The inspiration for this beer came to me when I visited the hop fields of Yakima Valley during harvest,\" says Jody.  \"Even before I tasted the first batch, the smell of those hops had me spinning.\" \n\nA refreshing IPA, Citradelic Single Hop IPA gets its name from the Citra hops used in the brewing process. Repeated heavy dosing and dry hopping brings out the smooth citrus and tropical tones of a hop grown in one of the most fertile and productive hop-growing regions in the world, the Yakima Valley. \n\nA kaleidoscope of citrus and tropical flavours, Citradelic is a single hop, unfiltered IPA, with an ABV of 6.0% and an IBU of 60 and is available in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in a bottled six pack. \n\nAlso new with this Big Rock offering, is a more consumer friendly \"ENJOY BY\" expiry date (day/month/year) on the bottle's neck.
