[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, March 8 /CNW/ - CONSOLIDATED GOLD WIN VENTURES INC. \n(CGW TSX- V) is pleased to announce that drill permitting to complete\n3000 feet of drilling on the areas related to known gold and copper\nmineralization has been initiated. CGW has recently completed soil grid lines\nand preliminary geological mapping on its South Dolly Varden gold copper\nclaims in Elko County, Nevada. The work was designed to assist in delineating\nspecific drill targets in the skarn and intrusive related mineralization that\nis analogous to the Battle Mountain Fortitude type of gold deposit in east\ncentral Nevada. Initial results are being collated and further results from\nthe sampling program which correspond to the areas of known and suspected\nmineralization will be available before the end of the month.\nThe South Dolly Varden gold claims are located in the Dolly Varden\ndistrict, southeast of Elko, Elko County, Nevada. The area is recognized as a\nclassic eastern Great Basin district with base and precious metals associated\nwith upper Paleozoic sediments intruded by Cretaceous auriferous magmas. The\n18-claim South Dolly Varden property is adjacent to the Victoria mine, which\noperated in the 1970s and 1980s producing over 24 million pounds of copper and\nthe Dolly Varden property which produced gold and copper. Work done previously\nby Noranda reported significant values of copper (up to 1.3 per cent) and gold\n(up to 4.27 grams per tonne), in grab samples, related to gold-copper porphyry\nand/or skarn system associated with felsic intrusive dikes.\nFurther sampling and a detailed Induced Polarization (IP) survey is being\nplanned. Data review and interpretation is ongoing to complete this current\nprogram of geological mapping, systematic rock sampling and IP geophysical\nsurveying prior to and in aid of selecting favourable drilling locations on\nthe property as well as satisfying Nevada regulatory permitting requirements.\nThe permitting process is expected to take approximately 2 months to complete.\nDrilling is anticipated to commence by late May.\nLaurence Stephenson, P. Eng., a Qualified Person under National\nInstrument 43-101, has approved the contents of this News Release.\n\nSouhail 'Abby' Abi-Farrage, President and Director\nConsolidated Gold Win Ventures Inc.\nVancouver, BC\nEmail: moreinfo(at)v-cgw.com\n\nThe C...
