[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 9204B Bezant Resources PLC 09 April 2013 \n \n\n9 April 2013\n \nBezant Resources Plc\n(\"Bezant\" or the \"Company\")\n \nResult of General Meeting and Revised Timetable\n \nBezant (AIM: BZT), the AIM listed gold and copper exploration and development company operating in the Philippines and Argentina, announces that the resolutions proposed at the General Meeting held earlier today, as set out in the notice dated 18 March 2013, were all duly approved by shareholders.\nAccordingly, the proposed Capital Reduction will take effect if confirmed by the High Court and upon the Order of the High Court being lodged with, and registered by, the Registrar of Companies, which is now expected to take place on 25 April 2013.\nIt is expected that a Distribution of 8 pence per Share in respect of the Capital Reduction will be made to Shareholders, other than Gold Fields, on or around 30 April 2013 in respect of each Share held on the revised Record Date (now being 6.00 p.m. on 24 April 2013).\nIn summary, the revised timetable of remaining principal events is currently expected to be as follows: \n\n\n\n\nRecord Date and time for determining entitlements to the Distribution \n\n\n6.00 p.m. on 24 April 2013\n\n\n\n\nExpected date for confirmation of the Capital Reduction by the High Court\n\n\n24 April 2013\n\n\n\n\nExpected Effective Date of the Capital Reduction\n\n\n25 April 2013\n\n\n\n\nCredit CREST accounts with or dispatch cheques in respect of the Distribution\n\n\non or around 30 April 2013\n\n\n\n\n \nA further announcement will be made in due course.\nUnless the context otherwise requires, defined terms used in this announcement shall have the meanings given to them in the circular dated 18 March 2013. \nFor further information, please contact:\n \n\n\n\n\nGerry Nealon\nExecutive Chairman, Bezant Resources Plc \n \nBernard Olivier\nChief Executive Officer, Bezant Resources Plc \n \nLaurence Read\nDirector / Communications Officer, Bezant Resources Plc &...
