[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7976F Bezant Resources PLC 30 May 2013  \n \n\n30 May 2013\n \nBezant Resources Plc\n(\"Bezant\" or the \"Company\")\n \nApproval for Environmental Impact Assessment, Eureka Copper-Gold Project, Argentina\n \n \nHighlights:\n \n·      Approval received for the Environmental Impact Assessment (\"EIA\") submitted in respect of the Company's wholly owned Eureka Project from the appropriate Provincial Directorate of Mining and Energy in Argentina \n \n·      EIA has been approved for 10 of the 11 Licences, covering approximately 3,400ha of the total 5,500ha Eureka Project area:\no  Approved area covers the entire historically known mining area plus all of the prospective exploration areas identified by the Company\no  UNESCO designated Laguna Biosphere Reserve section excluded from the approved EIA area, which has never formed part of the Company's current or anticipated future exploration or mining plans\n \n·      Bezant will now proceed to implement its exploration strategy for the Eureka Project:\no  Intention to define maiden independent JORC compliant resource estimate\no  Development of near surface, low cost mining model for potential copper-gold extraction\nBezant remains well funded to support an efficient and sustained exploration work programme, following the previously announced return of capital to shareholders expected to take place on or around 30 May 2013.\n \nBezant (AIM: BZT), the AIM listed copper-gold exploration and development company operating in the Philippines and Argentina, announces that it has received all of the requisite formal documentation from the relevant authorities in respect of the approval of its Environmental Impact Assessment (\"EIA\") for its wholly owned Eureka Project located in the Jujuy province, Northern Argentina. \n \nWith the EIA now approved, full-scale exploration works can now commence on the Mining and Exploration Licences that constitute the Eureka Project save for the environmentally protected Leguna Biosphere Reserve section, which is non-core to the Company's plans.
