[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 9095U Beowulf Mining PLC 25 October 2010 \n \n\n25 October 2010\nBeowulf Mining Plc\n(\"Beowulf\" or the \"Company\")\nUpdate re Kallak and Ruoutevare Iron Ore Projects\n \n \nDrilling programme commenced at Kallak South Iron Ore deposit\n \nDrilling campaign for the Ruoutevare project planned for early 2011\n \nBeowulf (AIM: BEM; AktieTorget: BEO), the AIM and AktieTorget traded mineral exploration company, which owns several exploration projects in Sweden, is pleased to announce that a drilling programme has now commenced on the Company's wholly-owned Kallak South Iron Ore deposit, located immediately south of the Kallak North Iron Ore deposit within the municipality of Jokkmokk in northern Sweden. The two deposits form the Kallak Iron Ore Project. The Company also announces that it has signed a new Letter of Intent with respect to a 4,000 metre drilling programme on the Company's Ruoutevare Iron Ore project which is currently expected to commence in February 2011.\n \nHighlights:\n \n· 3,500 metre diamond drilling programme has commenced on Kallak South deposit\n· Initial assay results anticipated to be received by the end of Q4 2010 \n· Maiden JORC compliant resource estimate anticipated to be sought following completion of the drilling programme \n· Bench scale metallurgical tests to produce a high grade magnetite pellet feed product to commence on ore material from the Kallak South deposit\n· Letter of Intent signed for planned drilling campaign at the Company's Ruoutevare project in Q1 2011\n \nKallak South\n \nA grid pattern of 32 holes, totaling 3,500 metres of drilling is planned to cover the entire Kallak South deposit and is currently expected to be completed by the end of December 2010 with all analytical testing finalised in February 2011. However, in light of the project's location north of the Arctic Circle, severe winter weather conditions may be encountered which could serve to temporarily delay completion of the programme.\n \nThe drill programme will be carried out in a similar manner to the programme recently completed on the Kallak North deposit.
