(TSX: BNG) (\"Bengal\" or the \"Company\") is pleased to announce that the Cuisinier 8 well (\"Cuisinier 8\"), the second well in the 2013 Cuisinier appraisal drilling campaign on\n the Barta sub-block (\"Barta sub-block\") portion of Authority to\n Prospect (\"ATP\") 752P in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin, in Queensland,\n Australia, has been cased as a future oil producer.\n\n\nThe Cretaceous Murta member, DC70 sand was the primary target and the\n well encountered approximately 7.6 metres of net sandstone with a\n preliminary estimate of 6.8 metres net pay. The DC70 sand at Cuisinier\n 8 appears to be positioned on the same trend as the offsetting\n Cuisinier 1 discovery well (\"Cuisinier 1\") which has achieved\n cumulative production of over 133,000 barrels of high quality 52 degree\n gravity oil through its Extended Production Test period of\n approximately 19 months with a calculated 4.4% reservoir pressure drop.\n Cuisinier 1 on the Barta sub-block has 6.9 metres of net pay in the\n DC70 sand and is located 800 metres west of the Cuisinier 8 well.\n\n\nCuisinier 8 is the tenth successful well of 10 drilled to date.\n\n\nThree firm and one contingent well are planned to immediately follow\n Cuisinier 8, all of which are positioned to optimize pool productivity\n and to further define ultimate pool size. Each well is targeting the\n primary Murta Formation. Total drill depth is approximately 1,750\n metres per well and drilling and evaluation time for each well is\n anticipated to be approximately two weeks excluding rig move times. The\n rig is now moving to spud the Cuisinier 9 well located approximately\n 1,600 metres SE from Cuisinier 8.\n\n\nThe operator expects to commence down-hole completion activities at\n Cuisinier in July 2013 once the drilling campaign has been completed.\n\n\nBengal holds a 25% working interest in the Barta sub-block of ATP 752P.\n\n\nAbout Bengal\n\n\nBengal Energy Ltd. is an international junior oil and gas exploration\n and production company based in Calgary, Alberta.
