(TSX:BNG) ("Bengal" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Peter Gaffney has joined Bengal's Board of\n Directors effective immediately.\n\n\nMr. Gaffney, a chartered engineer and geologist, is an independent\n adviser to the international oil and gas industry. His focus is on\n strategic management issues and the integration of surface and\n subsurface operations with particular reference to National Oil\n Companies. He was a founding partner of Gaffney, Cline and Associates,\n an international petroleum management and technical advisory firm,\n having direct involvement with the firm until its acquisition in 2008.\n\n\nHaving graduated from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College,\n University of London, Mr. Gaffney went on to work in most of the\n world's petroleum producing countries.
