(“Belmont” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: BEA; FSE: L3L2) is\npleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Thomas Unterweissacher,\nEurGeol, to its Board of Directors.\n\n\nDr. Unterweissacher currently serves as Strategic\nAdvisor and Head of Exploration for HMS Bergbau AG, a\nleading independent German energy trading and commodity group and a\nmajor shareholder of Belmont. He brings extensive experience in the\nexploration of lithium, niobium, tantalum, cobalt, and gold, with a\nproven track record leading complex exploration programs across\nEurope, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria.\n\n\nDr. Unterweissacher is a senior mining geologist and\nexecutive with more than two decades of international experience in\ncritical minerals and precious metals exploration. As certified\nEuropean Geologist\n(EurGeol) and Qualified / Competent Person under NI\n43-101 and JORC he has led and overseen\nexploration programs covering lithium, niobium, tantalum, cobalt,\nnickel, rare earth elements and gold. He has particular expertise in\npegmatite-hosted systems and district-scale project development. He\nholds a Doctorate in Mining Sciences (Dr. mont.) from Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria and has extensive operational experience spanning\nearly-stage exploration through advanced project evaluation.\n\n\nIn his role at HMS Bergbau, Dr. Unterweissacher is\noverseeing the development of the company’s recently acquired\nlithium, cobalt, nickel, tantalum, and rare earth projects in\nKazakhstan.
