[{"type":"text","content":"Belmont Resources' JV partner Marquee Resources intercepts thick lithium bearing sediments at Kibby Basin, Nevada\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n HIGHLIGHTS:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Company has successfully tested the magnetotelluric\nanomaly at the Kibby Basin Lithium Project and the results from two\nboreholes (KB 22-01 and KB 22-02) have confirmed high levels of\nlithium-bearing sediments along with dissolved lithium in the\ngroundwater.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mineralised intervals containing up to 924 ppm lithium\nwith greater than 300 ppm lithium over thicknesses\n \n \n in excess of 450m\n \n \n (1475 ft) have been identified in core samples of clay-rich playa\nsediments.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lithium mineralization is fairly consistent in both\nthickness and grade in the two boreholes, which are    2,000 m\napart,\n \n \n suggesting extensive\nlateral occurrence across the basin\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drill hole KB 22-01\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Assay results of drill core returned\n \n \n lithium solids concentrations of up to 924\nppm Li with mineralisation open at depth.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Below the contact between unconsolidated lakebed\nsediments and more lithified sediments, lithium content increased\nsignificantly and drilling intersected a\n \n \n 79 m (260 ft) thick section from 362-441 m\n(1188-1448 ft) averaging 771 ppm Li with a high of 924 ppm Li\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The upper high lithium zone was contained within a very\nthick zone, averaging\n \n \n 383 ppm\nLi over 487 m (1597 ft)\n \n \n continuing to the bottom\nof the hole. The lithium mineralisation is open at depth.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dissolved lithium was identified in the groundwater at\ndepths generally correlating with the lithium bearing\nsediments.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drill hole KB 22-02\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Encountered anomalous lithium values above the hard\ngravel and significant lithium enrichment below -\n \n \n with all mineralisation remaining open at\ndepth.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A thick zone of\n \n \n 169 m (555 ft) averaging 558 ppm Li with a high of 860\nLi\n \n \n lay below the contact.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lithium mineralisation continued to the bottom of the\nhole with an average of\n \n \n 379\nppm Li over 451m...
