(TSX: BYL) (the \"Company\" or \"Baylin\") today announced that its subsidiary, Alga Microwave Inc. (\"Alga\"), has received a purchase order for over $2.5 million of its C-Band 5G Filters.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \nAlga's C-band 5G filters have been developed over the past three years and have undergone strenuous approval processes before being selected for implementation. The coverage and capacity band of the new 5G cellular network will operate primarily at the 3.3 to 3.6 GHz spectrum creating interference concerns with the C-band satellite communication terminals which receive Space-to-Earth signals in the 3.4 to 4.2 GHz band. Alga's specialized 5G filters are designed to prevent interference between the cellular and satellite networks. \nRandy Dewey, President and CEO of Baylin, stated, \"The 5G global network mass deployment that is underway makes filter technology increasingly critical. With the introduction of 5G networks, C-band frequencies will now be shared with a wider range of services. Alga's filter has been designed specifically to clear portions of the C-band spectrum.\"\nPlease note, this announcement is not related to the Company's May 6, 2020 supply agreement announcement.\nForward-Looking Statements\nThis press release includes forward-looking information and forward-looking statements (\"forward-looking statements\") within the meaning of applicable securities laws.
