(\"Advantech\"), has received an order valued at\n \n $1,620,000\n \n CAD from a US government agency for L-band and S-band solid state power amplifier systems.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n These products, ranging from 700 watts to 1kW, will provide telemetry, tracking and control links (TT&C) to a constellation of Geostationary Equatorial Orbit (GEO) satellites.\n \n \n Advantech's President,\n \n John Restivo\n \n , explains, \"This is the first phase of an ongoing program to upgrade the agency's ground station network.
