About this update from Bayer Ag

GENEVA and BERLIN, Oct. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The WHO Foundation today announced a wide-ranging collaboration with Bayer to support global health initiatives. The agreement will help to resource WHO's efforts to eliminate neglected tropical diseases, promote self-care, and gain insights into the impact of climate changes on sexual and reproductive health. For two decades, Bayer has collaborated with WHO in the fight against neglected tropical diseases through donated medicines and financing to strengthen health systems in vulnerable communities. The partnership with the WHO Foundation builds on this record of support and focuses on three shared priorities: This collaboration accelerates momentum toward the Sustainable Development Goals and helps close critical healthcare gaps. Bayer and the WHO Foundation invite global stakeholders to join innovative funding opportunities, recognizing that sustained, cross-sector action is vital to improving health outcomes for communities worldwide. That's why our partnership with the WHO Foundation is so important. Self care shifts the focus from systems to people, eases pressure on healthcare infrastructure, and ensures that everyone, regardless of income or geography, can take charge of their health," said Daniella Foster, SVP & Global Head, Public Affairs, Market Access & Sustaina...
