(TSXV: BMR) (OTCQB: BTRMF) (“\n \n Battery\n \n ” or\n“\n \n BMR\n \n ” or the “\n \n Company\n \n ”) announces that it has\nchanged its auditors from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered\nProfessional Accountants (“PwC” or the “Former Auditor”) to\nGrant Thornton LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants (“Grant\nThornton” or the “Successor Auditor”). At the request of the\nCompany, the Former Auditor resigned as the auditor of the Company and\nthe Board of Directors of the Company appointed the Successor Auditor\nas the Company’s auditor in each case effective as of December 6,\n2022.\n \n \n There were\nno reservations or modified opinions in the Former Auditor’s reports\non the Company’s financial statements during the period that the\nFormer Auditor acted as the Company’s auditor. In addition, there\nare no reportable events, including disagreements, consultations or\nunresolved issues (as defined in National Instrument 51-102 –\nContinuous Disclosure Obligations (“NI 51-102”)) between the\nCompany and the Former Auditor.\n \n \n In accordance with NI 51-102, the notice of change\nof auditor, together with the required letters from the Former Auditor\nand the Successor Auditor, have been reviewed by the Board of\nDirectors of the Company and filed on SEDAR.\n \n \n Battery CFO Max Satel\nstates:\n \n “We are pleased to announce the voluntary change in the\nCompany’s auditor, from PwC to Grant Thornton.
