(\n \n TSXV: BMR\n \n ) (\n \n OTCQB: BTRMF\n \n )\n(“\n \n Battery\n \n ” or “\n \n BMR\n \n ” or the “\n \n Company\n \n ”)\nis very pleased to announce the execution of an Offtake Agreement (or\nthe “\n \n Agreement\n \n ”) with Anglo American Sur. S.A.\n(“\n \n Anglo\n \n ” or “\n \n Anglo American\n \n ”) a division of\nAnglo-American PLC.\n \n \n Anglo’s Chagres smelter in Catemu, Chile has agreed to sell\nup to 240,000 Dry Metric Tonnes (“\n \n DMT\n \n ”) of copper slags to\nbe processed into copper concentrates at BMR’s Punitaqui copper\nflotation plant. Anglo has agreed to purchase all the copper\nconcentrate to be produced from the supply of copper slags. The terms\nand conditions of the Agreement are benchmark for this type of\nconcentrate. BMR anticipates the processing of copper slags will\ncommence within approximately 90 days, subject to completing certain\nplant maintenance and upgrade activities. The Agreement is in addition\nto the agreements previously entered into between the Company and\nJavelin Global Commodities (“\n \n Javelin\n \n ”), as such agreements\nwere announced by the Company on February 12, 2024. Javelin shall not\nmarket the copper concentrates processed from copper slags and shall\nnot be paid any commission in respect thereof.\n \n \n Battery CEO and\ndirector Martin Kostuik stated:\n \n “We are extremely pleased to\nannounce this agreement, which comes at a perfect time for BMR. The\nAgreement provides the Company low-cost copper bearing material to be\nprocessed at our Punitaqui flotation plant while Battery begins\ncommissioning of the plant. It allows BMR to generate cash flow from\ncopper sales while the Cinabrio, San Andres and Dalmacia mines will be\nramping up to reach full production.”\n \n \n \n Furthermore, by\nallowing BMR to process slags, which are a by-product of previously\nsmelted ores, the Agreement further demonstrates the Company’s\nongoing commitment to the Environmental portion of its\n \n Environmental, Social and Governance ...
