This represents the first time Edgility will be used for a government application and support critical public infrastructure. \n \nThe Customer will use Edgility to deliver the call-handling system for 911 Emergency Services and the 988 National Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Crisis Lifeline across a major US State. By utilising the Edgility platform, the Customer will be able to run critical applications close to end-users at the edge of the network, which reduces network latency to facilitate enhanced responsiveness and faster call resolution times.\n \nIn addition, Edgility enables the virtualisation of multiple applications on a single small form edge device, reducing the need for additional hardware, and significantly decreasing power consumption to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability.\n \nMoti Nagar, Chief Executive Officer of BATM, said: \"This latest contract for Edgility is a great endorsement of our solution given the high standards of reliability and efficacy required for emergency services call handling. It also demonstrates the numerous high value use cases for edge computing, with Edgility being used for the first time in a government application for public safety.\n \n\"We are honoured that we will be helping to improve the crisis care available to people in need. As emergency communications become more sophisticated in assisting first responders as well as expanding access and ease of use for individuals, edge computing plays a mission-critical role in processing data close to end-users to deliver potentially life-saving services.\"\n \n \nEnquiries:\n \n\n\n\nBATM Advanced Communications\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMoti Nagar, Chief Executive Officer\nRan Noy, Chief Financial Officer\n\n\n+972 9866 2525 ...
