[{"type":"text","content":"\n BATM Advanced Communications Ld\n26 July 2007\n\n\n\n\n BATM Advanced Communications Limited\n\n AGM Statement and Trading Update\n\nAt the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held today, Peter Sheldon, \nChairman of BATM, will make the following statement:\n\n'I am delighted to announce that the positive start to the current year, \nreferred to in my statement accompanying the 2006 Accounts, has continued \nthrough the first half of 2007, where we have seen strong demand for our \nproducts across all of our sales channels and a continuing strong order book. \nWe expect our interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2007 to show a \nturnover increase, over the comparable period last year, in the region of 15% \nto around $40 million and present indications are that second half turnover \nshould exceed this level.\n\nFollowing our announcement on 21 May 2007 of a distribution agreement with one \nof Japan's largest technology distributors I can also announce further progress\nin the Japanese market. I can inform shareholders that, following successful \nrigorous trials, we have recently received an initial order for a pilot \nprogramme for Japan's largest telecom operator.
