Company completes Phase I Diamond Drill program and initiates Phase II on its "Crack Moly" Molybdenum Prospect

TSX-V: PCV

VANCOUVER, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - Pacific Cascade Minerals Inc. (the "Company") advises that the Company has completed the Phase 1 Diamond Drill program on its "Crack Moly" Molybdenum prospect north east of Harrison Lake in southwestern British Columbia. Phase 1 comprised 8 drill holes totaling 2,200 meters testing along a 700 meter strike length. Core logging has been completed and split core from the first 6 holes has been shipped to Eco Tech Laboratory Ltd. (Kamloops) for analysis. Drilling to date has focused on both near surface and deeper I.P. geophysical resistivity and chargeability anomalies as well as breccia pipes peripheral to the main target. The company has now initiated its Phase 2 drill program by relocating the drill for the set up of drill hole 9.

The Company's Phase 1 and 2 drill programs were planned for a total of 2,000 meters and 4,000 meters respectively.

Management is encouraged by drilling to date and as such has ordered an expansion of the existing Induced Polarization ("3D IP") grid due to the prospect's anomalies being open to both the south and west. Efforts are under way to coordinate the start of the expanded IP program in order to close off the anomalies.
