The region has received only\nsporadic, systematic exploration since its first discovery and\nexploration by Inco in the late 1950's. Additional systematic\nexploration was not conducted again until the 1980's and in 1999 to\n2007. Several geochemical, geophysical, geological mapping and limited\ndiamond drilling has been undertaken on the property. These studies\nhave been able to define at least two sulphide pulses associated with\nthe emplacement of the LMUI. These pulses both contain high nickel and\ncopper concentrations with associated precious metals.\n \n \n \n \n Listed below are some of the more significant\nhistorical precious metal assay results from rock sampling to\ndate.\n \n \n \n \n Historical Surface Chip Sampling\n \n \n \n McGregor Lake Area\n \n \n \n \n \n Pd\n \n \n \n \n Pt\n \n \n \n \n Au\n \n \n \n \n Length\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n g/tonne\n \n \n \n \n \n \n g/tonne\n \n \n \n \n \n \n g/tonne\n \n \n \n \n \n Metres\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 126.59\n \n \n \n \n 11.52\n \n \n \n \n 5.60\n \n \n \n \n 0.76\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 28.30\n \n \n \n \n 3....
