[{"type":"text","content":"\nDeclares Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.50 Per Share\n\n\n WALLA WALLA, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--\nBanner Corporation (NASDAQ: BANR) (“Banner”), the parent company of Banner Bank, today reported net income of $51.2 million, or $1.49 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2025, compared to $53.5 million, or $1.54 per diluted share, for the preceding quarter and $46.4 million, or $1.34 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2024. Net interest income was $152.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2025, compared to $150.0 million in the preceding quarter and $140.5 million for the fourth quarter a year ago. The increase in net interest income compared to both the preceding quarter and the prior year quarter primarily reflects a decrease in overall funding costs and an increase in the average balance of interest-earning assets. The increase compared to the prior year quarter also reflects an increase in the average yield of interest-earning assets. Fourth quarter 2025 results included a $2.4 million provision for credit losses, compared to $2.7 million in the preceding quarter and $3.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. Net income was $195.4 million, or $5.64 per diluted share, for the year ended December 31, 2025, compared to net income of $168.9 million, or $4.88 per diluted share, for the year ended December 31, 2024.
