She replaces Steve Kimball who retained the title of chairman after stepping down as president and CEO in 2003.\r\n\r\n\"This leadership transition is an important step in our growth and evolution as an independent community banking institution,\" Kimball said. \"Megan has done a great job of leading the bank through some challenging times and helping position us for a rapidly changing banking environment.\"\r\n\r\nClubb joined Baker Boyer Bank in 1990 as vice president and marketing director and became chief operating officer in 1992. She was named president in 2000 and CEO in 2003. \r\n\r\nKimball has been involved with the bank for 35 years and served as its president, and later president and CEO, for 17 years prior to retiring in 2003. \"Steve provided valuable support to me and the executive team in the past three years as we responded to challenges in our economy and within the organization,\" Clubb said. \"The changes we made helped re-energize Baker Boyer and build a foundation that we hope will enable us to remain competitive and independent for years to come.\"\r\n\r\n\"We are proud that members of our founding families have held the leadership positions within Baker Boyer throughout its 135 year history,\" Kimball said. Clubb is the great-great granddaughter of bank co-founder Dr. D.S. Baker. \r\n\r\nFounded in 1869, Baker Boyer Bank is the oldest independently owned community bank in the state.
