(the “Company” or “Badger”) announces Greg Kelly, VP Finance & CFO has decided to retire from Badger after almost 15 years in this position.  During this 15 year period Mr. Kelly has made a tremendous contribution to Badger and has been an important part of Badger’s growth and culture.

Badger went through a thorough executive search process and is pleased to announce that Gerald Schiefelbein will be joining Badger as the new VP Finance & CFO on June 2^nd.  Mr. Schiefelbein has had an impressive career with his most recent position being CFO of Ivanhoe Energy Inc.  Previous to this Mr. Schiefelbein spent numerous years with BP in finance and control functions.  Mr. Kelly will support Mr. Schiefelbein through a transition plan.

Badger is North America’s largest provider of non-destructive excavating services.  Badger traditionally works for contractors and facility owners in the utility and petroleum industries.  The Company’s key technology is the Badger Hydrovac, which is used primarily for safe digging in congested grounds and challenging conditions.  The Badger Hydrovac uses a pressurized water stream to liquefy the soil cover, which is then removed with a powerful vacuum system and deposited into a storage tank.  Badger manufactures its truck-mounted hydrovac units.
