Marsh & Partners Plc (AIM: BPM), a niche venture capital provider to early\nstage financial services businesses, today announces that it has acquired a 25%\nequity stake in Trillium Partners Limited ('Trillium') for consideration of\n£500,000.\n\nTrillium was founded by Stephen Routledge and Philip Mastriforte in 2004 and is\nan independent financial advisory firm in the Media and Information sector.\nSince then the company has worked on 19 advisory assignments for 13 clients\ncovering acquisitions, disposals, mergers and fundraising in that sector.\n\nTrillium's turnover for the year ended 30th September 2007 was £785,000 which\ngenerated pre-tax profits of £446,191.\n\nIn addition to B. P. Marsh's equity investment of £500,000, B. P. Marsh has\nagreed to provide Trillium with a loan facility of up to £750,000 which will be\nused to fund further growth over the next three years.\n\nB. P. Marsh financed the acquisition from existing cash resources. The Company's\nNominee Director appointed to the Board of Trillium will be Brian Marsh OBE.\n\nIn addition Baroness Janet Cohen, former Executive Director of Charterhouse Bank\nand Non-Executive Director of the London Stock Exchange will be joining the\nBoard of Trillium as Non-Executive Chairman and Mark Adams, Partner at Pembridge\nPartners LLP and Non-Executive Chairman of marketing services group, Loewy, also\njoins Trillium as a Non-Executive Director.\n\n\nCommenting on the investment, Brian Marsh OBE, B.P.
