("African\nAura" or the "Company", TSX-V: AAZ), an exploration company with iron ore,\ngold and uranium exploration activities in sub-Saharan Africa, announces that\nits Phase 1 5,000m drilling programme at the Kambele gold prospect, located in\nthe Company's 100% owned 1,000km2 Batouri licence in eastern Cameroon, has\ndefined a potentially significant mineralised zone which requires follow-up\ndrill testing.\n\n\n- 3.77g/t Au over 9.0m, and 2.79g/t Au over 9.0m at Kambele III\n\n\n- 30 holes planned on Kambele III to define initial resource estimate\n\n\nKambele Gold Prospect\n\n\nAssay results received from four drill holes at the Kambele gold prospect\nhave intersected a zone of potentially consistent gold mineralisation in the\nKambele III area. KBDD0019b was drilled to a depth of 103.50m and intersected\n3.77 g/t gold over 9m. Hole 19b was drilled from the same location as\ndrillholes 19 and 19A which were reported on November 11 2008\nhttp://www.african-aura.com/s/NewsReleases.asp and included grades of up to\n65.90 g/t Au over 2.67m. Drillhole KBDD0023 was drilled to a depth of 94.45m\nand intersected 2.79 g/t Au over 9.00m (Table 1).\n\n\nThis and other drill data from the Kambele III area has been interpreted\nby the Company's geologists as a shallow dipping, gold mineralised, granite\nhosted, altered and brecciated zone with associated quartz veining. The zone\nruns parallel to the main 3.5km long, northeast trending axis of artisanal\nworkings and the primary soil and geophysical anomalies. The surface\nexpression of mineralisation in the Kambele III area is approximately 1,400m\nlong by 800m wide as defined by extensive artisanal hard rock gold workings, a\ngold in soil contour above 250ppb Au and a potassic alteration envelope as\nindicated by a geophysical survey which was completed in 2007. The spread of\nartisinal workings across the dip of the feature and the interpretation of the\ndrill holes completed to date indicate that the mineralised zone dips to the\nnorth west and continues at depth. The down dip extension will require further\ndrill testing.\n\n\nThe Company has now assigned both of its in-house owned ...
