We learned a great deal from the pilot study that will help us to construct the next steps in our IBS program. We plan to extend this study as an open-label trial for prolonged duration and with set dosing and intervals. Another Notice of Allowance from U.S. Patent Application 15/728,283 is also issued, for the method to use the same cannabinoid solutions for the treatment of glaucoma and symptomatic relief of conjunctival inflammation.The company’s intellectual property portfolio now includes three (3) fully issued patents – one patent allowing the use of CBD (cannabidiol) in controlled-release, functional chewing gum; one patent for chewing gum containing natural and synthetic cannabinoids for the treatment of pain; one patent for cannabinoid ophthalmic sol...
