Astral Announces Final Results from Drilling at the Los Crestones Gold Discovery in the Sierra Madre Gold-Silver Belt, Mexico

About this update from Avventura Resources Ltd.

[{"type":"text","content":"\nAstral Announces Final Results from Drilling at the Los Crestones Gold Discovery in the Sierra Madre Gold-Silver Belt, Mexico\n\n(via Thenewswire.ca)\n\n \nVancouver, BC - Astral Mining Corporation (TSX-V AA, AA.WT)\n(\"Astral\" or \"the Company\") is pleased to report\nthe third and final batch of results from drilling at the Los\nCrestones property, Sinaloa state, Mexico. Highlights from Phase One\ndrilling include previously announced 5m averaging 39.1 g/t gold, 93.3\ng/t silver and 2.13% copper from drillhole 11 (see December 12th 2011\nnews release). Intervals stated represent core length, true widths\nare not stated as mineralization geometry is not clear at this time.\n\n\n \nResults from Phase I drilling successfully highlight the potential of\nthe low-sulphidation epithermal system in which drilling tested\nmineralized exposures over a strike length of 300m. Three\nsub-parallel zones \"Corona\", \"Bohemia\" and\n\"Indio\" trend north-south and have been mapped on surface\nfor up to 930m (for drill plan see Astral's current map page here). \nThe zones consist of silicified breccias and quartz stockwork veins\nwhich exploit brittle fractures within multi-phase felsic intrusives\nand intermediate volcanics. Additional structures parallel to Corona,\nBohemia and Indio have been identified. Astral is planning\ncomprehensive follow-up programs including detailed geophysical and\nexpanded geochemical surveys to assist targeting of Phase II drilling.\n Planned work aims to assess the extent and controls of the\nmineralizing system responsible for emplacement of the highly\nanomalous intervals reported from Phase I.\n\n\n \nHoles reported in this release include 13-18 of the 18 hole program.\nHole 13 was abandoned due to poor drilling conditions and did not\nreach target depth. Holes 14 and 15 targeted the Bohemia vein south\nalong strike from previously reported intervals. Holes 16-18 were\ndrilled from a single pad and targeted the Indio vein in what was the\nsouthernmost drilling conducted during Phase I.\n\n\n \nSignificant Drill Intersections From Holes 13 to 18 of Phase I Drill\nProgram at the Los Crestones Project\n\n\n \n\n -------------------------------------------------------------------\n |Hole |Target |From |To (m) |Core |Au |Ag |Cu (%)|Au EQ|\n | | |(m) | |Length|(g/t)|(g/t)| |(g/t)|\n | | | | |(m) | | | | |\n |-...
