[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n23 June 2025\n\nAVON TECHNOLOGIES PLC\n \nUK MoD respirator order for Ukraine\n \nAvon Technologies plc is pleased to confirm that the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has placed an order worth approximately £10.2 million for Avon Protection FM50 respirators in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. \n \nAvon Protection's FM50 respirator meets the latest NATO forces' military mask requirements with variants in use across the world. It provides full-face protection against CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) threats, with very low breathing resistance that ensures a comfortable wearer experience. \n \nThis order will be delivered in the FY26 financial year and further adds to our strong order book.\n \nJos Sclater, Chief Executive Officer, commented: \n\"We are proud of the contribution Avon Protection provides to the national security of the United Kingdom and its international partners.\n \nThis order demonstrates our critical contribution to the overall health and resilience of the UK defence industrial base and reinforces the UK's commitment to continue its military support to Ukraine, as stated in the 2025 Strategic Defence Review.\"\n \nSteve Elwell, President of Avon Protection, commented: \n\"The UK has put its trust in Avon Protection's products for decades, most recently with an order for our EXOSKIN boots and gloves and now with this FM50 order.
